The cardinal sin when you run a removal company is losing an enquiry (or turning a client away), because you can not get out to visit them and see the volume they have to move.
Many removal companies take a list over the phone or by email if the client is outside of their area or they are just too busy to fit them in before the move. But you never can tell if the client has told you about everything they have or how large everything is. You just can’t see if the beds need dismantling on an email, you can’t see the access down a phone line, and most of the time we are too busy to look at Google Earth to see if what they are telling us is correct!
So we have come up with a solution and fixed this in many parts of the United Kingdom, by connecting up several Independent, “Freelance” and Self Employed Sales Estimators, who can work on behalf of your company and visit the client in their home when you can’t see them yourselves.
All of our Sales Estimators are trained and experienced Movers, who have worked in the removal industry for many years. They are extremely discrete and professional and know the right questions to ask your customers.
Once we have been to see the client, we provide you with a very detailed inventory, including packing requirements, volume, access details and anything else you would need to know about the move.
